About Us
Emerald Ridge of Neenah is the ideal retirement community nestled in a warm and friendly neighborhood centrally located in Neenah – just blocks from the heart of downtown. At Emerald Ridge of Neenah, staff members follow a well established philosophy: residents don't live where we work, we work where our residents live!
Emerald Ridge is a state certified Residential Care Apartment Complex (RCAC) providing assisted living services in a warm, homelike setting. Our dedicated staff love the residents they work with and have long tenure with very little turnover ensuring you will always be greeted by a familiar face. Emerald Ridge of Neenah's professional staff includes an on-site Executive Director, a full-time Resident Care Coordinator, housekeepers, maintenance staff, a life enrichment coordinator, chefs, a bus driver, and trained caregivers available 24-hours per day to assist residents with personal needs. The community RN visits weekly and is available at all times for consultation.
Emerald Ridge of Neenah welcomes visitors 7 days a week from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.* Be sure to share one of our home-cooked meals with your loved ones. While pets are not allowed to live at our facility, we realize they are family too and are welcome to visit!
Potential residents ages 65+ are encouraged to visit our community, meet the neighbors, and try our delicious food. Please join us for lunch or dinner and feel free to bring friends and family members. You may schedule a tour and/or a meal by phoning us or by simply stopping by!

Mission Statement
The mission of our community is to provide mature adults, who have decided their safety, comfort and well-being is compromised by living alone, with an assisted living alternative which allows them to live their lives with confidence regardless of the challenges they face as they age.
What Do I Need To Do To Become A Resident?
- Come visit us. We encourage our visitors to tour and stay for lunch. Try the food, meet our residents and interview the staff. We want you to love the food, like the folks that will be your friends and neighbors, and enjoy the people who will work hard daily to make your life fun.
- Get assessed. Everyone has different needs and wants. We believe our residents should only pay for what they actually use, so we offer 4 levels of care. An assessment determines need and the correct level of care. The assessment is a series of questions regarding your mental, emotional and physical needs and capabilities. This is a free service and can be performed while visiting our community or in the comfort of your own home.
- Complete our "Financial Information Form." Each resident is required to show proof that he/she has enough funds to reside in our community for a minimum of 2 years. We can direct you to services that can assist you in obtaining funding should you not have enough such as the Veterans Administration; Aide & Attendance Benefit; IRIS and Family Care Funding. Our Executive Director will provide a Financial Information Form during your visit.
- Choose your apartment & pay your Entrance Fee. Each resident is required to pay a $1,500 Entrance Fee, which is refundable up to 6 months after moving in. After 6 months of residency, the Entrance Fee is non-refundable. We will hold an apartment for 14 days after the Entrance Fee is paid. Rent begins on the 15th day or on the day of move-in, whichever comes sooner. (Note: If we do not have an apartment available, we will add your name to our wait list and call you as soon as an apartment becomes available).
- Visit your physician. State regulations require that new residents of assisted living communities have a tuberculosis skin test (or chest x-ray) and a communicable disease screening prior to moving in. During this visit, you will take a Physician's Plan of Care form with you for your doctor to complete. This tells us what your doctor wants in your care plan such as a special diet, medications, therapy, etc. and if you have allergies or care issues we should know about.
- Meet with our Executive Director and complete your move-in paperwork. Prior to moving in, you will review and sign several documents with the administrator such as your Admission Agreement, Resident Handbook, Health Care Release Form, etc. You will need to bring the following items to this meeting:
