Emerald Ridge of Neenah Offers 24-Hour Awake Staff

Emerald Ridge of Neenah is a state certified Residential Care Apartment Complex (RCAC), however many services similar to a Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) are provided. All employees have successfully completed CBRF courses proctored by our executive director including Standard Precautions, First Aid & Choking, Fire Safety, and Medication Administration.

Emerald Ridge of Neenah provides 24-hour, awake staff. A registered nurse (RN) is on-call and available onsite one day per week. A Resident Care Coordinator (RN’s assistant) is available Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to assist with resident health concerns.

Caregiver staffing when census is 90% or more is as follows:  

  • 4 caregivers - 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • 4 caregivers - 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • 2 caregivers - 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

We believe our residents should only pay for what they actually use, so we offer 4 levels of care based on needs:

Care Level 1:  
Includes 3 home-cooked meals daily, snacks, assistance with weekly bathing, scheduled medications, weekly personal laundry & linens (2 loads), weekly housekeeping, all utilities (except cable & phone), social activities, 24-hour awake staff, and an emergency call system.

Care Levels 2 & 3:  
Includes Level 1 and assistance with advanced needs and chronic conditions such as dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence management, insulin/diabetes management, Parkinson’s Disease, Hoyer lift, and 2-person transfers, etc.  

Care Level 4:  
Includes Level 1, 2 & 3 and serves those with advanced care needs and those requiring additional care throughout the day and/or night including end-of-life care.

MealsEmerald Ridge of Neenah Snacks and Beverages Area

Emerald Ridge of Neenah has two cooks on staff preparing delicious, made-from-scratch, home-cooked meals 7 days a week. Breakfast is made to order every morning with lunch and dinner menus provided a week in advance (meal alternatives are always available!) Residents are encouraged to dine in our spacious dining room, however, meals can be taken in-room upon request. Snacks and beverages are also made available at all times.

Emerald Ridge of Neenah maintains an active social calendar offering opportunities such as games, cards, crafts, baking club, outings, entertainment, community speakers, and spiritual enrichment. The community has a comfortable bus with a wheelchair lift and a full-time driver available Monday through Friday to provide transportation to and from medical appointments (within a 20-mile radius), shopping, banking and social outings.
